Can you see what I type?
No. What you type is processed on your device and the keyboard does not send it to us or to anyone else. There is no MarAI server that receives your text. Read more
Why does MarAI ask for Full Access?
iOS requires Full Access before any keyboard can share storage with its app, read the clipboard or use the network. MarAI uses it to save the words it learns where the app can show and sync them, to offer clipboard history, and to download language packs. Apple shows the same warning for every keyboard. Read more
What does the keyboard learn and keep?
New words you use, which words tend to follow each other, and typing patterns such as where you tap on keys. It does not keep your messages or documents. You can pause learning at any time with Private Mode. Read more
What syncs to iCloud, and how do I stop it?
Only your learned words and word pairs, and only if iCloud Sync is on, which it is by default when you are signed in to iCloud. It goes to your private iCloud storage, which we cannot access. Turn it off in the MarAI app under Behavior > iCloud Sync. Read more
What leaves my device?
Language pack downloads from Apple, purchases through the App Store, web pages you share to train the keyboard, iCloud Sync if it is on, and emails you choose to send us. Nothing you type is uploaded. Read more
Do AI Writing and Translate send my text to you?
No. AI Writing uses Apple Intelligence’s on-device model and Translate uses Apple’s Translation framework. We never receive the text. Apple’s terms apply to those features. Read more
How do I delete everything?
Remove single words by long-pressing them in the suggestion bar. To remove all of MarAI’s data, turn off iCloud Sync, delete MarAI’s data in iCloud storage settings, then delete the app. If you emailed us, write to us and we will delete your messages. Read more
How do I cancel MarAI Pro or get a refund?
Cancel in your App Store subscription settings at least 24 hours before the period ends. Apple handles payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase and never renews. Read more
Does Pro keep working without internet?
Yes. MarAI remembers your verified purchase on your device, so Pro keeps working while you are offline for a while. Read more
Does MarAI track me or show ads?
No ads, no analytics or tracking SDKs, no advertising identifier, and we never sell or share your data. Read more
